Except we like it when they show up in our feed 😂😂😂
I’m all seriousness though, the similarities are…
Well similar…
I’ve had a Facebook account since 2008, just over 15 years…
Along the way I made some friends who were close at the time but they’ve “faded away”
I say that in quotes because they really didn’t fade away…
They still show in my feed and although I’m not close to them anymore…
I still see the changes going on in their lives…
Getting married, having kids, big milestones, bucket list vacations…
Along with the not great news; divorces, lost loved ones, missed opportunities…
But that’s the beauty of life…
And our LinkedIn friends are similar in that way..
A lot of us made the best (or worst 😂) use of our time figuring out LinkedIn, networked online, virtual coffee, hosting lives, and making friends!!!
I don’t talk to as many of you any more…
I’m not in the comments as much anymore…
But I still see y’all in my feed…
It’s awesome to see people I met just figuring things out now having thriving businesses…
It’s amazing to watch some people step away and begin their comeback…
And there are still those that post their friendly smiles everyday encouraging others to have conversations with perfect strangers because they know the power of community…
Between new jobs, lost jobs, growing businesses and failing businesses…
It’s beautiful to be able to still watch and see everyone pursue what their heart has called them to do…
This is where the similarities are…
People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime…
But we can still see how they are making a difference…
